Growth Groups will resume meeting January 3rd!
In January our church family completed surveys asking in what areas God is moving within our church and where God would lead us to be yet stronger. The responses became the focal point of prayerful evaluations and discussions with a Focus Group. The Pastor and Deacons took the input gathered by the Focus Group into consideration, at our annual Leadership Planning Retreat. All of these processes lead us to the conclusion that Discipleship & Community were the two most important areas to address if we were to be the healthy, vibrant church that we all desire. It was determined that the best way to achieve this was for our Church’s ministry schedule to be fully focused on three parts; structured so that fully participating individuals move into deeper, authentic relationships with each other and with their Savior.
The three-pronged emphasis consists of:
- Sunday Morning Worship – Unified church family gathering to celebrate the glory of the Godhead as well as the grace-gift of intensive community we have enjoyed between Sundays. Emphasis corporate worship & Bible Teaching
- Sunday School – A deeper, more personal level of interaction and fellowship that equips, teaches, and trains with a level of application and accountability.
- Growth Groups – Smaller groups meeting throughout the week in people’s homes. The primary means of discipleship by providing an environment of intimacy and paving the way for genuine fellowship, shepherding, ministry of the Spirit and accountability.
